Welcome to The Big 5 Daily Check-in

The Big 5 Daily Check-In is a simple and brief, evidence-based program designed to help people improve their mental wellbeing. Our research has identified five key activities strongly linked to good mental health and life satisfaction: meaningful activities, healthy thinking, goals and plans, healthy routines, and social connections. We call these The Big 5.  

The Big 5 Daily Check-In aims to support you to build The Big 5 actions into your everyday life. Through daily text message reminders, optional educational resources, and progress tracking, the program encourages regular practice of The Big 5.

This accessible, easy, low-intensity option is ideal for those looking to build good mental health habits in a simple and manageable way.

The Big 5 Daily Check-in is helpful for people who:

Are 18 years of age or older.

Are Australian residents.

Are looking for a simple, effective way to boost their mental wellbeing.

The Big 5 Daily Check-in is NOT suitable for people who:

Are currently suicidal - Get urgent help

Are not Australian residents

If you have very severe symptoms we strongly recommend that you see a GP and a psychologist and/or psychiatrist for assessment and treatment. 

We recommend discussing this course with your GP or other health professionals to ensure it's the right fit for you. Your GP can provide guidance and help you make an informed decision. You can also begin by completing our online assessment, which offers insights to support your conversation with them.
