MindSpot showcases at the Mental Health Sector Expo, Parliament House

05/03/2026

MindSpot joined organisations from across Australia’s mental health sector at the 2026 Mental Health Sector Expo at Parliament House, hosted by Mental Health Australia.

Today MindSpot was proud to be part of the 2026 Mental Health Sector Expo at Parliament House in Canberra, hosted by Mental Health Australia.

The Expo brings together organisations from across the country to showcase services, highlight sector achievements, and connect with federal parliamentarians about the supports available in communities across Australia. It was also a privilege to hear from and speak with Minister for Health and Ageing and Minister for Disability and the NDIS, the Hon. Mark Butler MP, and Assistant Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention, the Hon. Emma McBride MP, whose continued leadership supports the sector’s shared ambition of creating a mentally healthy Australia together.

What stood out most was the breadth of services represented, and the shared commitment across the sector to improving the mental health and wellbeing of Australians. As MindSpot Executive Director Rebecca Psellos reflected, “Today has been a powerful reminder that when organisations across the system come together with shared purpose, we can expand the reach and impact of mental health care across Australia.”

Events like this highlight the collective impact of our sector and the importance of continued collaboration between services, researchers, policymakers and communities. At MindSpot we are proud to contribute to this shared effort by delivering accessible, evidence-based digital mental health services that have supported more than 300,000 Australians.

MindSpot extends our sincere thanks to Carolyn Nikoloski and the team at Mental Health Australia for bringing the sector together and creating an opportunity to share the work happening across the country.

As we look toward the future, opportunities like this serve as a powerful reminder of both the progress our sector has made, and the important work that still lies ahead.
