MindSpot's 'The Big 5' initiative has won the MQ Health Lighthouse Award for Innovation
We are delighted to announce that MindSpot has won the MQ Health Lighthouse Award for Innovation. Our game-changing initiative, The Big 5, has been recognised in the competitive Innovation category. This prestigious award is a testament to our commitment to advancing mental health care through innovative, evidence-based practices.
The Big 5, a transformative model of care driven by Professor Nick Titov, identifies five evidence-based activities crucial for better mental health. Through a collaborative effort, the team at MindSpot has brought this initiative to life, creating a suite of resources that support the delivery of this innovative program. Our research and clinical trials have shown significant improvements in wellbeing through regular engagement in these activities.
“The Big 5 is transformational thinking that applies to mental health problems that are so often medicalised,” says Walter Kmet, CEO of MQ Health. “This is a well-deserved achievement.”
The Lighthouse Program celebrates individuals and teams who exemplify MQ Health's values in extraordinary ways. This award specifically celebrates our ‘special charge to bring new ideas and new evidence-based knowledge into practice at every opportunity to advance health, clinical care, and wellbeing to improve lives.’
MindSpot is proud to be a part of MQ Health and the Lighthouse Program. This recognition aligns with MindSpot’s commitment to advancing and innovating mental health care.
