MindSpot GP celebrated its first anniversary, as we reflect upon a year of impactful mental health care delivery across WA
In 2023, MindSpot GP celebrated its first anniversary, and we took that opportunity to reflect upon a year of impactful mental health care delivery across Western Australia. Born out of the vision to enhance accessibility and breakdown traditional barriers to mental health care, to date MindSpot GP and it’s previous version, PORTS, have provided free assessment and treatment to over 17,000 people across Western Australia for a range conditions, from anxiety and depression to PTSD and chronic pain.
Moving into this new year, MindSpot GP remains proudly funded by the Western Australian Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA) as we collaborate with GPs and health professionals to provide effective, efficient and flexible treatment options to people, when and where they need it. Our dedicated network will continue to improve and enhance this unique service, which is key to improving the mental health and wellbeing of communities across the state of Western Australia, with a particular focus on reaching disadvantaged consumers.
