In 2022, MindSpot Academy was the proud recipient of the prestigious Australian Business Award for Training Excellence.  

This is an outstanding achievement for MindSpot and it recognises the exceptional work of the training team. MindSpot’s vision is to build an emotionally resilient world, and through the Academy, MindSpot is educating a world-class workforce of mental health professionals to care for Australians into the future.  

As a pioneer in digital mental health, everything MindSpot does is driven by clinical research and  evidence-based practice – making the clinic a premier place for training.  

Throughout 2022, the MindSpot Academy continued to offer high-quality student placements to psychology, occupational therapy and social work students to work at MindSpot’s Sydney and Perth clinics.  

The Academy has also continued to develop specialised learning pathways, training clinicians in areas such as delivering brief telephone therapy and cultural competency.  

As the team plans for 2023, the MindSpot Academy will look to share their learnings with the broader mental health community in Australia through developing a continuing professional development (CPD) event.
